Mock orange (Philadelphus coronarius) is a native flowering shrub. Renowned for their clusters of white, four-petaled blooms in late spring and early summer, these deciduous shrubs can reach heights of 10 to 12 feet. Their sweet fragrance, resembling orange blossoms (hence the name), attracts butterflies and pollinators, making them a delightful addition to gardens.

Mock orange is relatively low-maintenance. Plant them in well-drained soil in full sun for optimal flowering, though they tolerate partial shade. Water regularly, especially during their first year and during dry spells. Established plants are moderately drought tolerant. Prune after flowering to maintain desired shape and encourage new growth.

Perfect little transaction

I have searched for mock orange shrubs for quite a while and found them on old house trees. I ordered them one day and in two days, they showed up at my house. They were beautifully packaged each in a little burlap sack. And, each plant was healthy and vigorous. I carefully planted them and they are thriving. I would say a very good transaction, so good that I sent the companies website onto my garden club. I must say this company has the best website I have seen for the presentation of plants. It is so beautifully done and easy to navigate. A+ to these people:-)
